Milan, 25 March 2026 – Near res (formerly EuroMilano) has been awarded the prestigious “Champion in Urban Regeneration” recognition at the Italian Design Week 2026 in Washington DC, promoted by IMARK by Roberta Marcenaro Lyon, with the support of the Italian Embassy in the United States.

Every year the Italian Design Week brings together the Italian excellence in entrepreneurship, architecture and design with the American business and political world. The 2026 edition, dedicated to the theme of Regeneration, was held yesterday at the Italian Embassy in Washington DC, while the Awards Night took place at Villa Firenze, the residence of the Italian Ambassador to the USA.

Near Res was awarded for the UpTown Milano project, one of the largest urban regeneration initiatives in Italy: a next-generation neighbourhood in the north-west of Milan, developed over an area of more than 900,000 sqm with the aim of integrating residential, services, public spaces and green infrastructure into a sustainable and inclusive urban model.

The company expresses deep gratitude for the recognition and reaffirms its commitment to continuing on the path of excellence and sustainability in the urban regeneration sector.
