NEWS – 30 MARZO 2026
Milan, 30 March 2026 – A new milestone for UpTown: construction has begun on Inspire, the fourth residential development in the smart district located in the north-west quadrant of Milan. The foundation stone was laid on Saturday 28 March, in the presence of the many residents who have chosen to buy a home in Inspire, placing their trust in a project that continues to grow and honour its commitments: a concrete guarantee for those investing in their future home.
The new project gets underway as the handover of Feel UpTown (267 apartments), the third phase of the neighbourhood, is being completed. A continuity that testifies to the solidity of the development path undertaken.
UpTown is confirmed as an established urban hub: the thirty-hectare public park, the school complex ready for the 2026/27 academic year, the mobility infrastructure and local services form an urban system that engages with the Milano Innovation District (MIND) and the metropolitan functions of the area, helping to redefine the geography of the city.
A new development in the name of sustainability
Inspire UpTown will rise on plot R8 and will comprise five residential buildings arranged around a central garden: two towers of 24 and 20 floors and three linear buildings, for a total of approximately 400 units. The architectural concept, conceived by MAB Arquitectura with the development of the final and executive design and construction management by DVArea, is grounded in the dialogue between architecture and nature, with an opening of the block towards the park that strengthens the visual and functional connections with the surrounding green spaces.
A founding element of the concept by MAB Arquitectura is the superimposition of two volumes with a double-order façade for the linear buildings: from the first to the sixth floor, the façade is characterised by loggia rhythms and a material quality, while from the seventh floor upwards the façade takes on a lighter language that unifies and coordinates with the tower buildings, clad in a system of double or triple-height fins.
Wellbeing and sustainability guided DVArea’s approach during the general coordination and integrated final and executive design phase, with a focus on intelligent energy use. On one hand, the aim was to reduce energy demand through high-performance building envelopes and efficient systems; on the other, through remote controls and sensors, energy is used only when needed, minimising waste. The general and specialist construction management activity is distinguished by an innovative approach, based on the use of digital tools and platforms alongside on-site inspections, as well as the adoption of verification protocols to ensure compliance with DNSH objectives and CAM criteria. This method enables the correct progress of activities through to the completion of works.
The design approach confirms the principles that have guided the development of the entire neighbourhood: high-energy-performance building envelopes, efficient systems, intelligent consumption control systems, and the use of digital models for coordinating construction phases. A set of choices that is part of the GBC Quartieri® Gold certification obtained by UpTown, the first Italian residential neighbourhood to achieve this recognition under an entirely national protocol.
The apartment layouts are designed with generous living areas and a rational approach to spaces and room distribution. The living space is optimised to offer maximum comfort and meet all needs and expectations, thanks to the modularity of the spaces. At the base of each building and within the central roof garden, amenities and outdoor relaxation areas are available for the exclusive use of residents. The centrepiece of the roof garden is the Wellness Pavilion, a light, glazed structure set within greenery. Inside are the swimming pool, changing rooms and spa areas, relaxation spaces and a solarium. In addition to the wellness area, the roof garden provides access to the Club House and Dining area, for the exclusive use of residents.
Construction has been entrusted to Impresa B4T, a company of the POLIFIN group and a new brand in the construction sector. A renewed journey, inheriting expertise and solidity from a general contractor with over 60 years of experience. Impresa B4T carries out high-quality civil and industrial works, with a vision oriented towards innovation, sustainability and the digitalisation of processes. At its core are people and expertise, in a model that combines industrial precision, advanced digital methodologies and continuous growth. Led by Chairman and CEO Giorgio Cucchi, the company is inspired by the principle of Building for Tomorrow: building today with the future in mind, exceeding the expectations of clients and partners through technology, organisation and business culture.
The UpTown neighbourhood is thus confirmed as a laboratory for experimentation on contemporary living: from energy efficiency to biodiversity monitoring, from sustainable mobility to shared services. A wealth of knowledge that fuels reflection on the challenges of urban transformation and quality of life in cities.
